Are you busy busy busy but not moving much?

Do you feel like you're going going going but not actually getting very far?
You see our brains are extremely good at convincing us that absolutely everything is urgent and important.
Just think... when your phone rings, do you feel the impulse to pick it up immediately? I know that I do..
And yet how many phone calls are really that important?
Not that many right?
Or when our phone pings us a notification we want to pick it up immediately to see what it's about. Feels urgent but generally not important.
Often the important things get overlooked

If we want to take back control of our lives then we need to learn to distinguish between what is important and what is urgent.
As Stephen Covey said we need to learn to schedule our priorities instead of prioritising our schedules.
So for me my priorities are :
- Spending good quality time with my family so I make sure I carve out time every day for this. It doesn't have to take long but I prioritise being PRESENT when I'm with them
- My physical health which means I prioritise exercise and healthy eating
- My business which is all about helping others live empowered purpose led lives and have empowered relationships
