Have you had a wake-up call?

Have you ever thought about what this expression means?
People generally say it when tragedy strikes.
It could be as result of a death of a loved one, serious illness diagnosis, accident or any major life upheaval.
But what is implicit within this statement?
It’s very clear when you see it..
It means that you were asleep.
In fact most of us are sleep-walking our way through life.
I know I was…

Until I had my “wake-up call” in my mid 20s when my first husband got diagnosed with Hodgkins disease, a form of lymph cancer.
He died when we were both just 31. Too young to lose a spouse. Too young for his parents to lose their son. It wasn’t meant to be this way.
But now I was awake….
And I haven’t fallen asleep again because this life is precious.
I have re-invented myself a number of times since then and am constantly evolving.
Life is an incredibly exciting journey when you realise that this is always possible.
People often think in all or nothing terms and this closes down options but every journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
And the starting point is to WAKE UP.
Why wait for tragedy to strike to have your wake-up call?
I would LOVE to help you get clear on what it is you want out of life and to help you figure out what you need to do right now to make it happen.
