Sometimes we don’t even allow ourselves to dream because there is an invisible force-field of fear blocking our way.


We rationalise for ourselves why we can’t do something. And that stops us from even trying. We stay in our comfort zone which is remarkably seductive. It is familiar and safe and while we’re tucked up neatly here fear stays away.




Our lives shrink. Our comfort zone gets smaller.


But we feel safe.


…and yet there is a whisper barely audible…. but what if you could be doing something different?


Is this really it? Surely, there has got to be more to life?


We think that the way to deal with fear is to run from it or to hide and it will recede.


What we often do not realise is that fear is a signal telling us something. It’s a useful signal which is giving us information. Running away from it gives it more power over us. We need to take control and change our relationship to fear because if we don’t then our lives will shrink, our comfort zone will get smaller and we will be forever feeling that life is passing us by.


Why wait for the wake-up call of a serious illness diagnosis or tragedy to start living your life. Unfortunately, too many people do this.
